Regular Bookkeeping

Hi, I am looking to hire a bookkeeper for my small startup online lighting store.
I have an accountant who submits BAS and gives tax advice, so I really just need transaction processing, preparation for BAS, and maybe a little reporting now and then.
I probably average 2 - 5 transactions a week, and I have 1 CC, 1 bank account, and 1 paypal account.
I have used a freelance bookkeeper before which was very economical, but he wasn't proactive enough. I had to repeatedly prompt him to log in and do some work.
Additionally to this, I would like the following things done at first:
1) Reconciliation of accounts, as the totals in a few are inaccurate
2) A historical check for accuracy
3) Preparation of last quarters BAS
And a few questions:
How do you prefer contact and discussion, email, messaging app, or within Xero?
Do you recommend storing receipts and invoices in Xero or in a separate Dropbox?
How do you normally operate? Would I just forward all relevant emails, receipts, etc to you, then answer any questions you raise?
Was hoping to achieve this for less than $50 pw and maybe some more upfront to get everything in order.
