Content writing for water industry-related topics

We are seeking a talented and versatile freelance writer to develop engaging water-related content for a variety of marketing initiatives. We are looking for a captivating storyteller, interested in the water and technology sectors and who want to contribute posts as a freelance writer to a blog that could be seen by thousands every month. The candidate will be responsible for crafting creative and powerful messages aimed at developing and elevating our brand in the US and Canadian markets. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer, able to echo the voice and tone of our website content. They must be comfortable writing on an array of subjects that focus on water, including water issues, water shortages, water regulations, water utilities, WHO Drinking Water Safety Plans, technology adoption in US municipalities, distribution of non-compliances in the US, etc. Our blog is to be packed with information for water utilities compliance, operations and asset management teams, and decision makers. Our goal is to drive organic traffic to our website, and to raise our profile as water experts. We plan to do this by writing thought leadership pieces and by digging into US and Canadian water regulations and compliance, water shortages, water utilities corporate goals, innovation in the water industry and compliance strategies. The blog will also feature more technical pieces that will relate to our SaaS platform and that will be used to promote events or webinars. You'll be expected to generally provide a minimum of one post per month and have the flexibility to provide up to 4 posts per month. Qualifications/skills required: Impeccable English 3-5 years of professional experience in writing with a focus on marketing and other editorial material Strong understanding of the digital space Must be outgoing, creative, and with a strong ability to produce effective content that is engaging and informative First-class editing and proofing skills Not intimidated by handling multiple projects at the same time and quick turnaround times
