Freelance French Content Writer

We are looking for someone to work with us for (estimated) 10-15 hours per week on an on-going basis to manage the content of our French language websites. We are looking for someone who is able to use their own initiative to search the web and other resources to find relevant information and to be able to adapt and rewrite this so that is compatible with our own products. We will need you to: To be able to work mostly unsupervised using your own initiative to re-write all existing product descriptions on our website(s) where we sell lighting products, mainly LED and other light bulbs and associated items. To ensure that content is unique (no duplicate content) but that the existing technical data shown on the websites that applies to existing products is accurately incorporated into the newly-worded descriptions. To provide 2 or 3 short articles (about 400-500 words) per week that we can use to add to our blog and / or to update our FB page. These articles should either feature some products that we wish to promote or be general news about latest events and developments in our industry to contain relevant factual information and to contain a mixture of sales orientated content SEO copywriting – researching and writing content for web pages, articles, directory submissions and links that have good titles and text using relevant keywords a number of times Articles for submission details to directories, company descriptions, promotional content, etc. Proof reading your own work before sending it on is very important Preferred skills: • 100% fluent written and spoken French. • At least a reasonable level of English as we will communicate with you in English. • The ability to write content that is well researched, engaging and interesting. • The ability to write both sales orientated documents and informative l articles.
