*Do you like Romance Books? Do you spend a good deal of your time reading romance novels and bodice rippers? Even better, would you consider yourself addicted to romance reads? Well if so then this writing job is definitely for you. *Do you read books by E.L. James, Jamie McGuire, Jane Austen, Stephenie Meyer, and Nicholas Sparks? *Are you into bodice rippers, historical romances, BSDM reading, erotic fantasy, teeny romances, or just straight out romantic stories? *Do you spend some of your spare time searching [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] for the newest and best romance reads? If so, then THIS is the job for you! ==THE JOB== If you're passionate about reading romance books and you are very well read in the genre, then you'll love this job! I want someone who loves the romance genre in all its forms and is passionate about the topic! Someone who would LOVE to help other people find the best romance reads out there! Your job will be to help write a number of detailed romance recommendation lists. The lists will touch many different romance subgenres. We are talking book lists with the titles like “Top 25 Best Romance Books Ever”, “Best Modern Romance Books”, ‘Best Classic Romance Books", "Best Supernatural Romances", "Best Bodice Rippers", “Best BSDM Romances” etc. The project will entail 10 - 15 or so lists for now, each containing the top 25 or so ranked recommendations. Likely anywhere from 500 to 1000 US in work with an eye for more work in the future. You’ll need to write between 200-300 words per recommendation in a witty, sarcastic, and entertaining style. You’ll need to convince the read WHY the book is ranked on the list and why it’s considered one of the best books in the genre. Of course, you’ll also NEED to really know what you’re are talking about. You'll have to do research about the topic to come up with the best lists. I will help out by forwarding my own soft recommendations to help out, but I don’t claim to be very well versed in the romance genre out of the box. You will be PAID per list written, with $60 USD per list. Some examples of what sort of lists /writing I’m expecting you to do as far as the style of writing I'm looking for: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] ==HOW TO APPLY== #1. YOU MUST be a native born English speaker. That means if you are not born in Canada, America, the UK, Australia, New Zeland and or somewhere where proper English is the first language, don't apply. I have nothing against ESL speakers, but for the context of this project, I need native-born English speakers WHO love reading romance books and have a good knowledge of the genre already. That means if you are from the Indian or African subcontinent, I won't even read your message. So don't waste my time and your time applying. I need people who are proper writers. #2. Send me a message with a 100 word paragraph stating what you know about romance books, your long relationship with the romance genre, what romance books you've read, and otherwise convince me that you actually know your sh*T when it comes to the romance genre. Preference here will be given to women as most romance novel readers are female and I want someone who KNOWS there genre. YOU WILL NOT BE HIRED IF YOU ARE NOT WELL-READ IN THE ROMANCE GENRE. I'm looking for people who have a good deal of knowledge about the romance genre before starting this project. Also explain to me your past writing qualifications -- have you worked as a writer, do you have a blog, do you attend romance book conventions, etc. If I don't get this message in my inbox from you, you won't be considered for the job.

I am a soon to be published author who's erotic romance releases in September, my second and third novels are in progress. I also edit pieces for other authors and do freelance commissioned short explicit erotica. I have read all the authors you name, and several you do not mention who are much better. You really want to read the audibility of the heart and how it pumps love instead of blood? the flexibility of the hands and how it holds onto her hands in a calm sailing of the winds which can be passed as the ticking and pedantic movement of time and tide? my bias for romance has been of great help to me and my love life. ranging from the subtle intricacies of the mills and boon series to the detailed and coveted touches of the silhouette series and the last but no the least, the deafening screams of the heart when it finds a loved one as always portrayed in the Harlequin series.....as a literature student, sarcasms, ironies and innuendos can never be above my reach in nailing a work like this to the cross of perfection. a trial will convince you.

Hi there, I am born in New York City so I guess I am qualified in one aspect. Also, I am TOTALLY in for anything related to the ROMANCE GENRE. I am an avid book reader and only read romance books. I mostly read classics. I have read nearly all works by Jane Austen and my favourite writers are the three Brontes. My other favourite romance books include 'Ivanhoe: a romance" and "The Duchess of Padua". In terms of modern romance books, I love vampire stories and have read nearly every one of them such as 'The Twilight Saga', 'True Blood', 'The Vampire Diaries' and others. Other romance books I like include all romance stories by Stephenie Meyer and 'The Tragedy Paper'. I am a writer and editor. I am the executive editor of magazine 'Goulash'. I have read a couple of love novels but the irony is that none of them had a title close to love. For example; NOT DEAD ENOUGH is a novel with different love dramas gone sour with some resulting to murder. Life is all about sex and love to put it straight. ABOUT ME Iam a professional article writer, academic writer and I also do photography. The fact that am new here does not mean I just begun writing. I have been writing for the past 5 years and during this time I have become an expert in the field. My typing speed is quite good and I can write up to 5000 words a day. Having gone through college and acquired a bachelors degree I have an upper hand when it comes to proposal, thesis and project writing. For me writing is a full time job and I am always available. Hello, I am 61 and a Canadian. I started reading romances when I was about 12 years old. At that time the books and magazines were for pre-teens and teenagers. I then started reading the Harlequin type pocket books and sometimes would read 5 a night. For the next 40 years I went through different periods such as Dr. and Nurse types, historical, adventure, travel and then to ones with that extra sizzle. I used to buy new and used novels as well as traded them back and forth with friends and relatives. My grandmother was the one I traded with the most as she liked them racy! For about 7 years I stopped reading novels as much but in the last year I have become addicted again. My favorite author is Christine Feehan. I like the novels with a story but also I like the sexual intrigue and some of the supernatural aspects prevalent in her writing. I hope to hear from you soon!

I've been reading romance novels since I was 12. I started with Twilight, which made me fall in love with the genre, and just ran from there. Romance is what made me fall in love with reading and it's almost all I ever read. I can't count the number of books I've read of this genre, but I have read teen, supernatural, scifi, historical, realistic and many more types of subgenres. As long as there's romance in the book, I'm usually very open to it. I will be great to write these list because I have read so many romance novels and I know what other readers are looking for because it's the same thing I look for in these books.

Full disclosure - English is not my first language, but seriously, I've been speaking it since I was seven, and I haven't read a book that was in anything BUT English since 2007. I simply LOVE to read, I would literally read anything once, and Romance is my second favourite genre (just after Fantasy/SciFi). I have 4.7gb worth of Romance e-books, and I've read them all (although I can't say I liked them all). My favourite sub-genres are Supernatural, Historical, and Romantic Comedy, and I'm always on the lookout for new titles and writers to check out. My favourite authors include (in no specific order) Jane Austen, Lori Foster, Elizabeth Boyle, Keary Taylor, Libba Bray, Molly Harper, Sabrina Jeffries, the CT Adams/Cathy Clamp and Patricia Werede/Caroline Stevermer collaborations, Eileen Wilks, JR Ward, Sabrina Jeffries, Gail Carriger, Julia Quinn, Nalini Singh, Sarah Rees Brennan, Beth Fantaskey, Elizabeth Hoyt, Sophie Kinsella, Marian Keyes, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Jill Mansell... it's a big list, I know, but honestly, who could pick just a few with so much goodness out there? I have very few IRL obligations, I read very quickly, and I'm pretty much open and ready to do whatever you need for very little money and in record time. Please, just give me a chance! Hell, I'll write one of the lists for free, and if you still think I'm not good enough after you've read it, feel free to give me the worst review you can possibly think of and I’ll freaking keep it, I promise :)
