What I would like is a Windows application with a simple “wizard” style interface to allow users to replace a logo provided with downloaded software with their own company logo. Below is an outline as to how I envisage the wizard looking but this is flexible – the simpler and cheaper the better.
There is some information that will vary from software to software – I don’t mind if this information needs to be manually typed by me in an “ini” file before distributing this wizard with the install files. Variables that I may need to change for each distribution (that, e.g., I change in the ini file) are enclosed in [ ]
Screen 1: Welcome screen with [comments]
Screen 2: File and location that is to be replaced [with default location already entered]
Screen 3: User browses to find replacement file – start in the My Documents directory
Screen 4: What to rename the replacement file [with default name already entered] – this will be the same as the file name in step 2 so if there is a better / easier way of doing this step (even miss it altogether) then that’s fine
Screen 5: Finish and confirmation
I will need to hold copyright to this as I need to have no limitations as to how I distribute this but this does not have to be exclusive.
I don’t know how feasible this is. Whether or not it gets done really does depend on the price as I will mainly be distributing it with freeware applications so the budget is limited.
Will gladly end bidding early for right bid. For non-established GetAFreelancer providers, payment will be via escrow only.
