Propose and Implement a new algorithm to secure IOT device in two parts. In part - A, need to come up with a new algorithm to secure IOT device. Need to state what it is going to secure and what are the advantages and disadvantages of this new algorithm In part - B, need to convert this new algorithm in to code and implement it on a IOT device and show the results and conclusions.

Here is a short overview of something similar I created once: A secure login system for a piece of manufacturing equipment. In the case that a user forgot their password, it would generate a temporary key using a cryptographic hash function on a set of inputs including: a universally unique identifier, the serial number for the device, the date and time from the real-time clock on the device. They would authorize themselves and send this key to the manufacturer of the equipment, who would use a tool I made to generate a temporary password which was associated one-one with that key (no other temporary password would work). The user could then enter that temporary password to gain one-time access to the device and reset their password. Due to the nature of the cryptographic hash function and the inputs used, no two devices would ever produce the same key. Please message me if you wish to discuss things further.

Hi, I have already your description and still didn't get a good idea on what you are trying to achieve, so here are a couple of questions: 1 - Are you looking to invent a new encryption algorithm or something similar? 2 - What is the functionality of your IOT device, and a bit more info on that, as any security algorithm will depend on that Looking forward to your response. i have years of experience of MATLAB and recently i did a project on dos attack in ioT and i can complete the desired work before the tile limit and minimum of your buget

Hi, as you will discover in my curriculum I have worked on securing sites and transactions on internet since 1995, with VISA, MasterCard, and other local clearing centers. I have defined security protocols for banks in the past, too. Also, I work with embedded systems since 1992, and with IoT devices since a couple of years. I am expert in ESP32 and ESP8266 (ESP-IDF). All this experience will be of help on defining with you this new security algorithm.
