Write a script that
opens Adobe Acrobat / other pdf-to-html program:
converts pdf into html
saves the html in a new folder
automatically checks for new pdfs in the first folder to convert into html
Example: I have 10 pdfs files in a folder. The output should be 10 htmls in second folder. The first folder is updated with 5 pdfs. The program automatically detects the new files/runs on a schedule. The second folder now has 15 htmls.
Criteria:
The program must run on a schedule/unless stopped in Windows 10.
Suggestions
To ensure the HTML conversion is good quality (ie, keeps tables and some formatting etc.) you may write a program that instructs Word or Adobe Acrobat to convert a pdf into html. However, another option would be to use an open source pdf to html software package, which may be preferable as Word and Adobe Acrobat are not free software/bulky.
It is preferred but not essential for the script to be written in Python.
