Need help editing and compiling program in c++ with visual studio 2013

I currently use this software and have a few settings I want to change. I've already located the files and lines that need to be edited. I've installed visual studio 2013 and the required libraries and environment per those instructions on github. I am not experienced in visual studio at all or with c++. I only do web development with php and html so this is new for me.
I would like someone to either A, connect to my pc with team viewer and make these changes and compile for me while I record a video so I can learn how to do it as I will probably want to test and make additional changes later or B, do it on their pc while making note of each step so I can replicate it myself should I need to make more changes. It's probably easier to do it directly on my pc since it took a couple hours to install the required libraries.
I've attached a notepad file with the changes I'd like to make. Please message me with any questions.
