Freelancer(s) needed to visit hotel websites and collect specific data about rooms offered by the hotels.
We have a list of 170 websites which offer approximately 1,000 rooms between them. Data for each room will be recorded on a new row in our spreadsheet.
The data to be collected and entered into our spreadsheet:
- Hotel name
- Room name
- Room URL from hotel's website
- Room location (specific list of options will be provided)
- Number of bedrooms
- Room size
- Maximum occupancy
- Number of beds
- YES/NO to indicate whether the room offers a specific feature (total of 10 YES/NO columns)
- 3-5 URLs pointing to photos of the room from the hotel's website.
Attached spreadsheet is an example. The final document and target website list will be provided to successful bidders.
Please follow these standards when recording data:
- Hotel and room names are to be entered in Camel Case Please
- If a hotel does not have a dedicated page for a room type please link to the hotel's room overview or accomodation page instead.
- Image URLs must be from the hotel's own website, no third party websites
- Image URLs should be the best resolution image available and a minimum of 800px on the longest side.
- Image URLs must be unique and specific to the room, please do not include general hotel or location images.
Original research and accurate data entry are essential.
Automation and scraping are strictly prohibited, any use of automation or scraping will result in termination from the project without payment.
Project is available as a whole or in part between multiple bidders. Please indicate how much work you are bidding for (minimum 200 rows).
+ Milestone payments will be made for every 200 rows completed
+ If the final number of rows is higher than expected additional payments will be made - you will be compensated for your work in full
