We have a software which uses Firebird database. The software is installed in multiple branches. All branches are connected to the internet but the connection is not always reliable. We use a single DB file in the headquarter office. There is a branchID field in most of the DB tables which specifies to which branch the data belongs to. The tables which don’t have a branchID field are common between the branches. We need to be able to have a local copy of the DB in each branch which can be replicated at a specific time, a specific interval, or called manually. We need a way to keep the data up to date in the headquarter office for all the branches. In addition, we need each branch to get updates from the headquarter. For updates from the HQ to the branches, we need to update the data where branchID= the branchID of the branch so in the branche we should have only one branch’s data. Please bid only if you have done similar task. We have around 110 tables. We use generators to generate auto numbers. Firebird 2.5 version is used. The project will be paid in three phases: 30% when delivered 30% after the acceptance 40% after 3 months to cover bug fixes and support during this period

Hello, I'm programmer over 10 years. I wrote a lot of small system and big company application. In my project i usually use firebird database, but I know also mySQL and MSSQL. A few years ago I wrote replication system for one company. They have CRM and need to use it in off-line mode. This system works on Firebird 2.1 and I migrate it to 2.5. I can't give You example and name of this company because I sign confidentiality clause. I thinks I have enough experience to create this project for You. I have few question: 1. Do You use Foreign key in relation in DB? 2. It's possible change structure table in branch DB (add trigger, store procedure and fields)? 3. Do You have Blob in this tables? If Yes, how much and what date do You stored in BLOB fields? My solution is write client-server application. On every branch we run client services with connect to server and send changes in branch database. As You wrote, You need also replication from Head database to branch. After send changes, client ask about updates. But it's possible then we have conflict in data. Some change data in head and branch database without synchronization. So in this case, user in branch must decided what data in "real" To give the final price I must know answer for my question and If possible structure of database.
