Feasilbility study: Sound and light decoration

This project will involve making a sound and light decoration. I need assistance with all of the electro mechanical and computer solution. I expect this can be done with Arduino interfaced with a series of 10 different proximity sensors, each sensor will trigger a different light and melody pattern with coordinated LED lighted decorations and musical bells that are triggered by connected motors. I need your assistance with designing all of it. Components will be sourced in China but you can help by first designing with whatever your favorite supplier offers. I have a functional spec. I need you to review and comment on how to implement it. A follow-on will be created if this project goes forward.
