Dear sir I have been working as a Application Engineer with 7+ years of experience.I have read your requirements regarding controlling a system in closed loop using PID Controller.I have used PID Controller in siemens S7-300,400,1200 for the Applications such as Temperature,levele flow etc.I have worked in a realtime to maintain the ACtual value with setpoint by tuning the pid paramaters. Hello, I am extremely interested in the position for a PID tuner. I am an Automation and Instrumentation Specialist with over 13 years of experience in designing, installing, calibrating and maintaining Process Systems and that includes many years of experience tuning PID Loops. My approach for your project would be to make an effective "bump test" in order to complete the tuning. This involves tuning the loop while the process is stable and online. Special care must be made when tuning Integrating or self regulating loops as they often have much slower response times. The goal with these systems is; arrest change and quickly return to SP. Furthermore, my experience includes tuning PIDs for both of the main types loop equations, Parallel or Standard. Additionally, I have some experience tuning with modeled controllers like IMC and Smith predictors, as well as multi loop controllers, such as cascade and feed forward.
