SUMMARY You are asked to create a programmatic web scrape of select Amazon seller categories (=’browse nodes’) and provide information about the top 5 product listings in each. Information to be organized in an excel file. BACKGROUND I am looking for someone with experience in programmatically scraping [login to view URL] for information. Amazon Marketplace knowledge is preferable but not required. Preferred experience lies in creation of programmatic scrapes as well as data analysis/presentation (with relevant reference works completed). I have perfect ratings on Freelancer. I am a buyer with a great reputation and intend to keep it that way. OBJECTIVE The objective is to collect information about the top 5 Amazon listings per seller category (=’browse node’). REQUIREMENTS You will be provided an excel sheet with the URLs of the seller categories (=’browse nodes’) to scrape. There are approx. 500 seller categories to scrape; the top 5 product listings of each seller category need to be scraped. - Use the provided list of seller categories and collect the top 5 product listings for each category (NOTE: the excel list attached is a subset of the full list. The comprehensive list will be provided upon successful hire.) - Confirm for each seller category whether the seller category includes at least 100 product listings (Yes/No) For each of the collected product listings, add the following information: o Product Title o Product Price o Product ASIN o “Best Seller” badge (yes/no) o Seller Name o Product Review Score o Number of Reviews o Amazon Best Seller Rank in Health & Household o Promotions available (yes/no) o Sold by Amazon (yes/no) o Number of Images in listing (above 5? below 5?) o Additional browse nodes on the listing (URL and rank of product in node) OUTPUT The work should be presented in the attached Excel Sheet in the format provided (see examples given). RESOURCES The Excel Sheet attached is a subset of the full list. The comprehensive list will be provided upon successful hire.
