We're a young company and growing, and excited to bring on a dedicated full-stack developer. THE CANDIDATE Seeking a dedicated full-stack developer for our Wordpress based e-commerce site Amore Albums. You need to have a background working on woocommerce based e-commerce site(s). Must be very familiar with best practices related to building and maintaining online stores and improving conversions. Should have an amazing command of relevant programming languages plus how to work with AWS. Having some background in good design, UX and UI is a big bonus. THE ROLE Your role will be very involved, self-directed and will allow you to make a big difference in expanding the business. You should be a subject expert and open to contributing advice on how to improve things overall. The work is consistent at at least 20 hours per week. Must be a team player and available to work throughout the week. Occasional calls are expected to touch base, review work and plan. THE APPLICATION Applicants are encouraged to write a short paragraph on what they would change about the site if they were in-charge of improving it. THE WORK Site needs numerous improvements and ongoing maintenance. • Update CSS to be on-brand for various pages• Editing the WP theme to perform various functions • Modify the WP My Account backend to include important features • Optimizing the site's speed • Creating new pages on the site as directed • Installing new plugins to add functionality • Adding a robust referral program • Adding automations for the site's sales funnel • Optimizing the sales funnel • Updating site to be currency specific to international visitors • Optimizing the checkout process • Various other tasks
