About me: I have worked on multiple web applications and extensions. I have also published a chrome extension(Session restore) and it has 800+ weekly users. Project outline: The extension will have two component a background script and a popup page. - Background script will check for new post(using Wordpress APIs) and will update the add-on icon accordingly. - Popup page is displayed, when user clicks on browser action button. This page will contain 5 most recent most and 3 button as suggested by the attached image. Questions: - Would you like to open targeted URLs like in the popup page itself or in a new tab? - Would you like to match the popup page's UI with your Wordpress website? (for consistency) - Any other Features/options that you would like see implemented?
