My company is looking to hire a developer for a "live sports application" on Android and Web Browser.
We have the full development document to send the developer pending signing of our NDA.
We are looking to develop for Android versions 4.0 to 4.3 along with a web applications written in Node.js (we are still confirming the web version will be in Node.js, still need to speak to the programmer)
The application will be similar to TheScore or ESPN sports apps where the user can follow a game live. The Backend will allow us to update the statistics manually and the statistics/scores will display to the user every X amount of seconds.
There will be 3 sections to the application. First section will be the statistics (example: goals, blocks etc.), Second section will be a visual (of the field/court) with statistics of what is happening on the field. (example: if somebody scores a penalty shot goal in soccer, a coloured dot (example green dot for goals) will appear in the penalty spot saying a goal was scored here. There will be filters for the user to use to display various different stats. Finally, the third section, will be written live commentary updating every X amount of seconds. All statistics will be imputed manually via a backend admin panel.
More features will be discussed but looking for a general quote.
Application should be fairly simple to create as everything has to do with manual submissions to display from the database.
The most difficult part would be the visual aspect of the statistics.
We only require 1 sport in the application.
