Simple graphic design: add fuzzy transparent border to 3 photos

**Important UPDATE:**Several bidders have pointed out that this can not be done with a .gif file. It must be a .png for the type of graduated transparency needed.

However, I need to determine whether 99.9% of browsers can properly display a .png file. If not, then this project will be **cancelled**. To avoid wasting anyone else's time on this projec (if it does get cancelled) I'm closing bidding early.

**Goal**: Make 3 photos more interesting and provide some suggestions. If you can post a link to an example, in your bid, of what you think would look good, that would be helpful.

**What I mean by "more interesting:**

These photos are a little boring. I'd like to make them more interesting/visually appealing.

I think the best thing to do is to add a soft border around them (see the Example in the .zip file). Note that in my example the soft border is WHITE. I want it to be transparent so it can work with any background color.

(I may use them on three very similar pages).

## Deliverables

Question for you:

1. Please make suggestions of other ways to make the photos more interesting.

It might look better if only 1 or 2 sides have the "soft border".

There might also be a different effect you can use to make the photo more interesting (drop shadow, etc.)

2. Would be helpful if you provided, *in your bid*, a link to any examples of what you think would look good. (That also lets me know that you actually read the whole description.)

3. Images will need to work on any color background page.

4. **New** addition: In the attachment is a file called "MakeBackgroundTransparent-calendar-flip-page-today". Make the background of that image transparent. It's tricky b/c the front of that calendar is white (same as the background).

Final files need to be in .gif and .png (transparent) formats.
