Custom Django applications for my company's project

Hi I'm a python/django web application developer. Your needs seem fairly simple. 1) an app with a model that allows for the saving of a file against a users id (assumed). Simple enough 2) A form submission to the system. 3) Sending messages, I am assuming an email like system. Thats easy enough. If your talking a chat system, that is a bit more difficult as you will need to use django Swampdragon and have a second server to manage a websocket Thanks Marc Nealer

I'll do the first one. I have done similar things before. Are you looking for general file upload functionality that just accepts any kind of file and stores it or do you want to do something with the files (convert/validate/display)? In the latter case you would have to list the file formats you want to support. Thanks

Hi, I'm quite used to django, it's the framework I'm using the most. I'm also used to build reusable django apps. Here is my background : I'm a graduate student (MSc Advanced Computer Science) at the university of Kent (Canterbury, UK). I followed a quite pragmatic path getting a technical school certificate in electronic systems, a vocational high school diploma in telecommunication and data networks and then a bachelor in software engineering. During my bachelor I've been immersed in programming through C and C++ achieving a lot of projects. I had the opportunity to learn about web development through different technologies (PHP, Django, JavaScript, Jquery, Bootstrap). I also worked with Python, Java and Go. My favourite programming environment is Emacs, gdb and git but I'm also used to Eclipse, Visual Studio, svn and mercurial. Have a nice day !
