1. Make sure that the site can be translated to French. Make it optional to have the site translated. NO GOOGLE TRANSLATE BUTTONS Make sure a person from France reads over it all to make sure it makes sense. Language: The default language for the site has not been declared in the <meta> tag.
2. Optimize Mobile View - currently the site is responsive but not optimal for mobile views
3. Use competitors for search rankings research.
4. Meta Description: Currently the description is 47 characters long. Ideally, this would be between 70 and 160 characters. This allows Google to return the site in searches more accurately and frequently to users - especially when keywords are used. Fix this to a minimum of 120.
5. HTML Headings: The use of <h1> through <h6> tags provides an SEO-friendly hierarchy on the site. Be sure to use these tags in every place applicable.
6. Frames: The ClosedClique site currently uses frames that cannot contain the content for certain items. Search engines cannot crawl or index content within frames on the site. Frames should be replaced with another method for displaying the current content on the site. Make sure these frames are built out properly to fit content.
7. Backlinks: There are 8 verified backlinks to the ClosedClique site. They are each from the one site and are considered low-quality. The higher the number of quality backlinks, the better SEO results for the site. We need to start with 50 on this project and will make a deal for ongoing updates on backlinks once a month.
8. W3C Validity: The site currently fails W3C Validation. Certain error can make it difficult for search engines to index this site so these errors should be reviewed and potentially addressed. Make sure Closed Clique passes the W3C Validation.
9. Offsite SEO must also be opti.mized
