Wensportz is a mechanical multi-sports unit that looks and feels sporty like a Jet Ski. The front section is rounded with a main console at the rear of the nose cone. The entire front structure will occupy about 20% of the space. The balance of space is open for the purpose of rails, cross-members and sporting apparatus being connected into the main unit for electronic and mechanical interaction. There are upwards of seven attachments which includes a normal cycle, a hand cycle, a kayak, a canoe, a rowing machine, an incline treadmill for running and walking and, a specially design wheelchair.
Beneath the mainframe unit is a series of electronic actuators that provides pitch, roll and yaw actions and interconnected to the main system and to each individual apparatus, is either virtual, augmented or mixed reality. Only one porting discipline is connected at one time, but the remaining attachments need to be neatly stored inside the main fairings.
The dimensions of the unit is approx 2m long x 500mm wide x 1500mm high at the console. The unit needs to be welcoming and sporty and will be used mainly indoors.
I am looking for a concept design to start the process of development. The successful design will be offered the detail work as well a each attachment needs to be designed when the mechanical engineers have published the functionality of each attachment.
