We are looking for a part-time FIX Consultant to help us roll out METRA - our next-generation multi-asset trading system. This project is expected to take 2 man-weeks spread over a period of 1 month. Connectivity to Exchange (for Live testing) is available 11 AM-11 PM India Standard Time. Remote Connectivity via Internet will be available to our Mumbai (India) office. Responsibilities: - Analyze Exchange FIX specification and determine to what extent METRA can meet the exchange requirements. (We believe that METRA is 95% compliant.) - After the Gap Analysis is done, configure METRA to bridge the gap. - Test the configured system thoroughly - Help in 'Formal FIX Certification Process' with the exchange. Requirements: # Solid understanding of FIX protocol including message constructs and how FIX tags are applied. # Excellent knowledge of FIX testing and FIX implementation cycle # Ability to debug FIX message content errors and apply corrective actions that involve configuration . # Extensive experience troubleshooting electronic FIX orders, including order rejects, routing issues and FIX # Java and QuickFIX/J
