ABOUT THE PRODUCT AND TECHNOLOGY [login to view URL] is a Web-based project management application, built with Java, a JSP presentation layer, an Oracle database, and a BEA or Tomcat application server. The goal of this project is to enhance the application, add some requested features using the current architecture, and migrate it to an open source stack that includes Postgres and Tomcat. ICS provides software for managing the development project, including Subversion, Fisheye, and Trac. ICS will also provide instructions for downloading the developer versions of the Oracle and BEA servers, and setting up a development environment in Eclipse. DEVELOPER REQUIREMENTS * Talented java programmer. We are looking for developers in the top 10% of all talent. * Experience building complex Web applications * Can install and administer Oracle, and has a knowledge of SQL and PL-SQL * Has experience working in a distributed team on an onshore/offshore or open source project. Knows how to use subversion and issue tracking systems. * Has broadband networking and a local development workstation. * Experience with Postgresql, Hibernate, and JSF is useful. * Understanding of project management and scheduling applications is useful. UI DEVELOPER REQUIREMENTS * Java developer * Excellent UI design skills * Able to present examples of application design * Ajax and Javascript skills ADMINISTRATOR REQUIREMENTS * Knowledge of linux system administration, with the ability to configure Web servers, java application servers, and database servers * Ability to administer Oracle database servers * Understanding of Tomcat and BEA Weblogic servers * Ability to write build scripts and create build processes * Experience with software product build and test cycles * Experience with continuous integration a plus QA REQUIREMENTS * Experience testing Web applications * Ability to build and test J2EE applications, including the ability to set up the development environment, edit ant scripts, and set up databases * Experience working on a distributed team, either onshore/offshore or open source * Ability to set up automated regression testing ABOUT [login to view URL] [login to view URL] is a complete, browser-based enterprise project management application that helps companies plan, execute and deliver on their entire portfolio of projects.
