We need to evaluate the queries response time and query execution plan for the new table The query which includes only the partition key Query with partition + sub-partition key Query without partition + sub-partition key Query with joining other tables. ( application queries) Decide on partition strategy based on the query performance stats a. Non-partition table b. Partition table c. Partition & sub-partition &&&&&& AND ... Should have expert practical knowledge Oracle performance tuning ( AWR, ADDM, ASH reports), long-running query tuning NOTE: Good to have knowledge in - ant builds , WBI , Jetty , WAS.
