I am looking for someone who can build me a SWT plugin for very large amount of data. Will give u a short overview so I hope you understand me better.
I am writing my thesis for my masters and there is some algorithms that I have written and stuff. Basically I have written a C++ program that does some complex calculations and the result is around 1 million - 2 million elements on the x-axis each showing a percentage value. Since with excel I cannot plot so much data and generate different graphs for visualization, my company with whom I am doing my thesis said I could use their tool-suite to create my visualization. So I am writing all the data into a SQLite file and plan to read it at the front end.
To let u know I have no prior knowledge about Java/Eclipse and plugins, I however tried somethings and failed miserably. Due to the sure number of data, anything I visualize lags and is just non responsive. I used JFreeCharts(FYI).
So the Task I'm looking for someone can help me with is, design a plugin(SWT and not Swing or AWT, else my company won't allow me to use it) that draws a simple graph(line, bar anything is good) and should be responsive. So I am able to zoom into it. You can just use [url removed, login to view]() to generate some dummy data and create a visualization say with a minimum of 1 million elements on the x-axis each having some % value. It would be great if it can work as a standalone application as well, so it would be better there would be a different class for generating the dummy data which later I can replace it with something that is reading the db.
Second TASK would be able to draw multiple graphs on the same visualization. So 3 sets of data and 3 graphs say of different colors.
Third TASK would be if we could incorporate JavaFX because it looks so much better and since I would be presenting my paper later at a number of conferences I think it does matter a bit how it looks.
Would be great if you could let me know if you can help me how can you and also how much would it cost. Afterall I am student so I need to think about that as well.
