Gig 2 - Editor improvement for the UI Prototype

Editor improvement for the UI Prototype A UI prototype is available and this project is considered an extension to this. Details of that project can be found here. Access to this code will be provided. 1. Develop a browser based editor preferably using React, Slate.js. 2. Reduce the white space around menu button to bare minimum. Get rid of the ripple if needed to do so. 3. Item metadata part will now have the following: a. menu b. Icon for the type c. Type name 4. Item can have additional classes for decorating the presentation, for example: “importance-high” or “importance-low”. High might add a pastel pale red background. 5. Item of type=separator will display as a horizontal ruler to the end of the page after the item.content. <[login to view URL]>_____________________ Uses class “item-separator”. [login to view URL] is usually a date “Aug 20” 6. Top Nav is now in 2 parts vertically: 7. Branding area must be no greater than 33%. Search bar area (67%) will now include the following: a. Space dropdown: <space name> Space name can be “Dinesh Private” b. Notifications area - <count> c. Search field and button d. Logout button 8. Menu and Tab area. No changes here. 9. Vertically the Branding area can scroll out of view when the user presses the down arrow or scrolls down. Will reappear when scrolled up or up arrow is used. This way the verticaly space can be conserved, giving more space for items. 10. Bottom Nav will be removed. Please Note: Please don’t waste your time if: 1. Your communication is not very good. I will not waste my time trying to understand poorly written english 2. You cannot show me your code, and demonstrate that you can write high quality javascript react code. 3. I insist on unit tests, if you have not delivered a large number of unit tests before, please don’t waste your time. 4. You are given to cutting pasting code from internet. Small amount of High quality is appreciated more than a large amount of low quality cut/paste code. Use higher order functions/methods reduce lines of code. 5. Hardcoded values = low quality code.
