Scope: Extract text from PDF and images (JPG, BMP, TIFF, GIF, PNG) and convert into editable text Example: Date, Amount,Tax,Vendor Name
1. Create JSP page, JSP page should contain four text fields Receipt Date, Amount, Tax, Vendor Name.
2. JSP page should have select image(Browser file) button to select a image or pdf file to choose and upload.
3. Once file is selected, Please wait image should popup till the process is completed.
4. web-inf/ (folder) should contain property file.. in which we can set the parameter value. Reason to have property file is some of the recipts will have date or date/time of one time etc...
Example Keywords:
amount.keywords=total amount,total sale,total fee,total fees,total,this payment,total due,master card,invoice total,amount,total cost,sale,fees,totai,ioirl,saie
bank.keywords=citibank
date.keywords=date,date/time,receipt date/time,departure,invoice date
5. Once the process is completed. Date, Amount, Tax, Vendor name value should be displayed in the respective text box.
6. Application should work in Tomcat web server.
7. For testing purpose use any FREE ocr API
8. After project completion, need to provide complete source files to us.
