POP / SMTP script

Hi, This project is for the development of a Linux script / database interracting with an e-mail box as follows: => Script POPs a mailbox regularly => When a new mail is received the script checks if the sender is already in its database * If Yes then the script replies to all with configurable text in the body of the e-mail * If No then the script calls an API on a Web URL, creates a databsae entry with the result of the query and replies to all with configurable text in the body of the e-mail The detailed use cases are within the attached document. This is required to work on demo with a Google apps e-mail account on any of the major Linux distributions. The details of the Web URL API will also be given to help development / testing. The code should be of good quality with enough comments. Work is ready to be allocated as soon as a bidder is finalized, full source code must be supplied at the end of the project together with the database schema (requirement is to use a mySQL database). This is the initial PoC for this project, more development would be required if the PoC is succesful. Any clarifications just let me know, Happy bidding !
