Restore RAID1 and MBR / GRUB on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Server)

I've had a recent hard drive failure on a RAID1 machine (Linux / Ubuntu).

The defective hard drive has been replaced.

I need you to re-establish the RAID1 (hardware), sync the hard drives and re-install GRUB.

Be aware that I did some testing and already tried to get these jobs done by myself.

I may have misconfigured one or more things, so please don't blame me. :-)

The machine currently runs a rescue system. Of course you will be given full root-access and a remote console in order to view boot messages, if needed.

The job will be done when the machine starts up correctly and all hosted websites are functional again.
