Grocery Receipt Lottery App

Have you ever walked into your local grocery store, bought over $100 worth of items, purchased these items and walked out the store casually? What if I told you that your receipt of the purchases you made could earn you up to $5000 cash without spending an extra penny! Hi my name is Christopher Alemao and I would like to introduce to you my app called: Receipt Cash. I am a third year University of Toronto student studying Machine Learning and Data Mining. I came across this idea when I was leaving my local grocery store and was reading over my receipt when I came across a part at the end which stated that I could win over $5000 simply by filling out a survey online! Not many people take advantage of this golden opportunity and thereby miss the chances of ever winning. I would like to give this opportunity to the customers by developing an easy to use app that allows them to seamlessly scan their given receipt, fill out the survey and submit it for a chance to win! Without getting to technical I would like to explain the process of my app in steps: Step 1: Customer downloads the app from the app store (Android or IOS) Step 2: Customer log into the app by using their google account, facebook account or entering an email address to get verified. Step 3: Once the customer has created an account, they will be brought to a screen that tells them to scan a copy of their receipt. Step 4: The app will correctly identify the name of the store and bring up the correct survey according to that particular store. Step 5: The customer will fill out the survey and it will be sent to the particular stores website server to be submitted. Step 6: After filling out the survey the customer will be given the option to either save its copy and answers for next time or delete it from their account based on their experiences.
