Mobile App Development: Grid Electricity Indicator

Hello, my name is Elias and I work in systems architecture in the renewable energy industry. I am looking to develop a mobile application that monitors grid electricity conditions in the United States and alerts users when fuel sources are particularly carbon intensive or expensive. The app will empower users to modify their energy consumption behavior in order to influence electricity sources in an effort to collectively reduce electricity demand. The app will connect to APIs provided by the Grid Operators (such as ISO New England, New York ISO, ERCOT, etc...). I am looking to work with a mobile app developer to create an MVP that registers users with accounts, stores user location and preference data, monitors grid conditions, and sends push notifications when users can change their energy consumption behavior to benefit the electricity grid. Attached below is a sketch of a schema for the MVP. Future features of the app will allow users to log their responses to notifications, customize preferences, and far in the future directly enroll their energy consuming devices in grid preferences.
