I'm a UPS driver. So I'm looking to develop an app that can help all UPS drivers.
We are part of a union, so I would like to put the union contract in as well.
Safety information that are used for the job.
1. A UPS news feed - All Ups News, when the app is opened, first thing anyone sees is UPS news.
2. UPS stock information - for those drivers that keep track of the UPS stock they own
3. UPS time card
4. Safety Information/DOK (I will give you this informatikn)
5. Contract (I will give you this information)
6. Contact the union (Link to the union website)
UPS news feed is everythjng that is happening in the world with UPS. I need a real time daily feed of UPS news.
UPS stock information - need a daily stock chart with the stock price listed.
UPS Time Card:
All I need on the time card is a calendar. You click on the day and it goes to a time card. The time card has:
Total Hours Worked:
Drivers will punch in Total Hours Worked which is measured in "clicks"
Clicks is hundreths
[url removed, login to view]
Example: So when they type in 823 in total hours worked. I want the app to to convert 823 into hours and minutes which would be 8 hours and 14 minutes.
Anything over 800 would be overtime. So the 823 would be 14 minutes of overtime.
Overtime is also anything over 40 hours in 1 work week.
Over/Under is bonus. Drivers that come in early receive bonus pay. It is measured just like the time above but with negatives and positives. If they put down -135 then they make bonus. They need to be Under 0 to make bonus. So negative 135 is under. If they are over such as 135 then there's no bonus. So when the driver punches in -135, I need it to convert to 1 hour and 21 minutes. If they punch in 135, i need it to convert to 0. Anything positive is 0.
So for a full day:
Total Hours Worked: 947
Miles: (optional input)
Package Count: (optional input)
Total Hours Worked: 9 hours 28 minutes
Overtime (time and a half): 1 hours 28 minutes
Over/Under (time and a half) -1 hour 14 minutes
Miles (optional input)
Package Count (optional input)
