We are seeking an experienced developer or team of developers that know how to build .NET proof of concept on Windows Azure. The application will connect to a range of clients (browser, iOS, Android) and requires a flexible framework that will:
• Database Wrapper API
• Role based user access control
• Security
o One time authentication for mobile devices
o Encryption/Decryption
o AJAX Capable session with token security for XSS attacks
• SQL reporting
• JSON/XML Encoding of data
• REST protocol class
• API’s
o Dropbox API
o Instant messaging API
o Social Media API’s
• Configuration tools (desktop app with security)
This framework will be the backbone to our application layer. The application layer will then house some packages that rely on the framework and should be independent of other packages.
Scenario for the concept:
John from marketing at XYZ engineering uses his web browser to access the internal website and logs in presenting him with his “workspace”. The workspace is the default view that lists all the available packages that his role enables him to access such as full permissions to marketing and read-only access to the product inventory. John can also access generic packages that are available from the framework such as Dropbox, Instant Messaging and social media, etc.
Mary from sales at XYZ engineering also logs in using her web browser and is presented with a different “workspace” that provides full permissions to her client list and also read only access to the product inventory.
In the above cases, Mary and Johns’ access is based upon their roles in the organisation. Both users belong to a special project “Project X” and have special permissions, these special permissions grant them access to the Projects package.
We are looking for an experienced developer or team of developers that can build this proof of concept and collaborate with us to achieve the best working model for the system to ensure that the concept works in a Windows Azure environment.
This project requires completion within 2 months and can be negotiated around the work involved to meet this deadline. We are also seeking a fixed price to complete the project, the indicated price above is the ceiling amount for what we are seeking to spend for all or part of the proof of concept as negotiated. The type of people we are looking for must be fluent in English, responsive to emails and work, must provide weekly progress updates along with work completed and must be able to be contacted by Skype.
All code must be commented and follow a modular approach (high cohesion, low coupling) and be done using C#, ASP.NET and standard SQL. More information will be awarded to the bidders that are interested and serious about taking on this job.
