73406 MySQL database errors in PERL

I have 3 errors in my database. The first one is the reason why my server shut down 5-6 times in one day (Yahoo post my dating site in their home page ([login to view URL]) for one day last month and I got 6000 visits that day). 6000 visitors is nothing. I have powerfull dedicated server. It should be able to handle many many more visitors a day. I get this error: Too many connections at /home/dating/public_html/cgi-bin/personals/scripts/[login to view URL] line 6 [Fri Feb 6 09:53:47 2004] [login to view URL]: DBI connect('dating_dating:localhost','dating_dating',...) failed: And the second one I have is: [Sun Mar 7 11:07:10 2004] [login to view URL]: DBD::mysql::st fetchrow failed: fetch() without execute() at /home/dating/public_html/cgi-bin/personals/scripts/[login to view URL] line 710. This is the third one: [Sun Mar 7 12:09:06 2004] [login to view URL]: DBD::mysql::st execute failed: You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 at /home/dating/public_html/cgi-bin/personals/scripts/[login to view URL] line 21. The first error I got on 02/06, when my site got 6000 visitors for one day and the second and third error I get it everyday.
