This script should be very simple and quick for one of you talented people. I found a script for $70 but it only runs on NT servers.
I'm looking for a "movie files of the day" script.
I think a PHP script working with a mySQL database should do the trick.
I want to be able to put files (.mov .avi .rm .mpg .mp4 .wmv) in folders which represent days. I want to be able to upload many days worth of files in advance and just set and forget the script. Once each day, yesterdays files should go away and todays files are shown and become downloadable. I'm not sure if this can be done through mySQL but it would be nice if the file links can be encrypted or hidden somehow so the actual file can stay on the HD but not be downloadable unless they are the files for that day.
The script should be designed to create a html page that sits in a members directory behind an .htaccess file but beyond blocking downloads of the files that aren't "files for that day" I don't think any more security need be built it, but I may be wrong, you tell me.
I would like the script to move through the folders in some sort of order, and start at the top if the end folder is reached. However the script should be "smart" enough to skip past any previously shown days files if and when new folders full of files are uploaded.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. 4) Installation package is nice but optional, must have complete installation documentation including the simple things, like CHMOD permissions and FTP binary and ascii settings.
## Platform
Standard Unix, Linux, Free BSD with PHP, but not necessarily the latest releases of them. I would rather have a script that can function on just about any newer machine, rather than only on the cutting edge in technology, unless a very recent release is necessary to give the script the features I am requesting.
