**Description:** This project requires two separate applications:

PROGRAM #1

This application will be a utility to define a 3D LEVEL for the second application to run. This application will be a utility to allow the user to load a 3d model (i.e. Maya, 3D Max) and define valid collision based navigation paths/areas and audio source locations. The file will be exported to a proprietary format that will be loaded into the second application. The naming convention for this modified file is *.3dw (i.e. [url removed, login to view]).

PROGRAM#2

This application will be a standalone application for loading and navigating these 3dw LEVEL files. The application will make use of a gaming engine platform to increase performance and functionality. The program will allow the user to select the level to load and allow the user to freely navigate the LEVEL via PC joystick and video head tracking controls. The level 3dw file will contain the 3D model, valid navigation pathways, 2D and 3D Stereoscopic data and 3D audio (optional surround sound 5.1)

The application should also allow multiple users to navigate the LEVEL via LAN and/or Internet. This would allow one or more users to navigate the 3D space simultaneously with avatars to define the users.

We need to add a few features to the second application. All the working source code is available, just need to integrate the new code into the stand-alone application.

a. Real time ray-tracing (working code provided)

b. 3D stereoscopic viewing functions (working code provided)

c. Video head tracking to pan and tilt user views (code provided)

d. Surround sound (5.1) and localized audio support

e. SKYPE VOIP Voice support (Skype SDK available)
