PHP Emailparser

**I am in need to a general emailparser** to be used in a several commercial program. This means that all code used must be allowed for distribution, this is very important. Many open source/volunteer projects does not allow this or have requirements to certain modules. I will ask for documentation of permission if you use other code than your own.

# It must be able to parse even "messy" MS Outlook Express and Outlook emails and extract the following:

- Title

- Body (If in html, remove style information and garbadge created by some html programs, so that it can be normal viewed, or do so that the code can be displayed in a webpage anyhow looking nice. Like you would expect from a webmail client basically)

- Date

- Sender

- Recievers email

- Headers

- Possible attachments

# Piping (on linux) and pop3/imap fetching (on linux/win)

# NO software must be preinstalled on the server in order to use. Not even modules: If modules are needed, they must follow sourcecode and be installed by the email parser.

# Security is important. And it is important that it is very robust/that it doesn´t break at first look or if it gets something it don´t understand.

# Body extration and getting as close to xhtml with that is important, so that the Body text can be shown during email reply in a WYSIWYG editor (you do not have to write the editor, I have it).

# Plain text is far simplier, but I need to allow this program to recive and handle html text in addition to plain text, this is the most important feature!

The data should be inserted into a Mail databases with table names like "Mails" and table "Attachments". No further db handling required, just plain insert.

## Deliverables

**Before you consider this bid:** I have already have a coder winning this bid, but he never responded and did not really start. I suspect it is because he realized that it isn´t so easy as you may think, this is NOT a easy earned money project. I´m setting a quick deadline to, in order to faster detect a similar situation

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
