Point of Sale Java Application(repost)

You will be writing a Java application that will be delivered through a web browser to remote clients (primarily windows, but should work with linux and mac). Your application will talk directly to a MySQL database for all information. You are writing only the client that will read from the MySQL database, not the management program.

Your program will also need to work with a list of peripherals, such as epson receipt printers, logic controls customer pole displays, ingenico signature capture devices, multiple monitors on windows, etc.

Please read the attached "Spec" document for more information. If you bid on this without reading the document, there might be some surprises, so just take a glimpse and make sure that you can do everything.

IMPORTANT NOTE: There are some additions to the attached spec that will include purchasing packages, customer tracking/management, and multi-discounts. We will discuss this as the time comes.

This will be a long term project, so expect a good amount of time in the testing mode. I will accept you to make certain modification that may have been overlooked in the spec to make the system work better. I want a long term coder that will be able to make additions and changes over time.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

Hello all... I will be reposting this bid to include some changes that I gathered from you durring the bidding process.

I would like it if you all bid again, and supplied your sample application that prints on an epson tm-t88 printer, opens a cash drawer connected to the printer, displays a message on the logic controls pd-3000 display, and takes a text input WITHOUT the use of a text box, and displays the value when you press enter.
