Paypal Magento checkout error

Hello,
I am using a magento installation on my store and I am using paypal to process payments. The problem is that when an order is placed, I get an error saying "Payment declined, please try again" (see screenshot attached), but the funds have been captured in my paypal account. Basically the website is telling customers that payment was declined, but the money has been withdrawn from their accounts.
Because it says payment declined, I am unable to make shipments, and print invoices and orders. Also all the orders in the backend says cancelled.
Please can you fix this. See attached pdf for the screenshot of the error. Thank you.
