1. Introduction

Right now you don’t have admin control panel in your site. You are depending on developer to make rates and date changes in your site. Also you are dependent on Paypal’s email to know which user actually paid for subscription and which is not.

2. Admin Module for Registration Shopping Cart

Admin module of Registration Shopping cart should have following features:

2.1 Add Form

1. Allowing Admin to enter different Price for different date range, it should allow multiple set of date range:

Start Date: Calender End Date: calendar

Adult price:_______ Child Price: _______

Group Discount Price: _______ Min ticket for Group price: _______

Submit

2.2 List Form

List of Date sets – For updating/Deleting date or price

Clicking on Edit Button Edit form will come and user can change the price or date and save. On clicking on delete an alert box will come to confirm deletion.

e.g Clicking on edit button of first row a form like this will come.

3. Search orders

Admin will be allowed to search an order by giving a date range, order number , email (even partial email address) or name.

Search button will show the result in list format.

Clicking on Detail button It will display whole order.

4. PayPal IPN Integration

The basic paypal integration is just send control to paypal website and if customer pays, paypal send email to seller and buyer. This is good if you have few order per day, and its a manual process.

Paypal also provide an IPN integration (instant payment Notification), this is a little complex but automate paypal integration. To do that we need to create an IPN script and set in your paypal account, any time any transaction happen in your account it will call this script and send information to this script. This script will process the information and update the database.

In your case when customer do a registration, your website will not send email to customer till it get IPN notification from PAYPAL. Once it get notification from paypal. It will update the payment status from “Pending” to “Paid”.

You can generate report (see item 3) and see which transactions are pending.

5. Membership Module

Most of the shopping cart site have membership module, so that people can login and see the status of their order , it may happen that people enter all the registration information but due to some reason they are not able to pay, if your site has membership module then system can save his order and when user login next time it will show his pending order, all shopping sites either [login to view URL] or a small site like [login to view URL] they do that.
