Reinforcing Steel (Rebar) Estimating. I once created a program as template on Lotus 1-2-3. It was a best seller and started my company. Now there are so many rebar estimating software available for desktop but none web-based. Estimating entails gathering information shown on contract drawings such as quantity, bar size, bar lengths, bar shape, and specs and accumulating them as summarizing them by: rebar weight (Imperial or Metric) by bar size, by shape, by building components and by shape. The application mimics a spreadsheet with macros to speed up the estimating process. As a professional rebar estimator we have seen all the desktop estimating program and we still find our old Lotus 1-2-3 template better. The market is worldwide. ## Deliverables I pretty much no the algorithym of the application. I can help to show you screen views and most of the calculations. While we do not use the Lotus 1-2-3 program template we created nearly 30 years ago, I could show you how it works. We wrote it at a time where all estimating was done manually. Everyone that saw it bought it, until we stopped selling it and formed an Estimating Company using the program. When PC went into windows we could not convert it from DOS.
