I need a simple way to insert a commandbutton in the line of commandbuttons in an AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) window. No matter what the size of the AIM window is, there is a small space on the right and left of the row of buttons for changing font size, styles, etc. I want to be able to put a commandbutton on the left side of that. It is easy to find where the commandbutton should be using the GetWindowRect API, the harder part is to get the commandbutton to be shown when the window has focus and hidden when the window does not have focus, in order to simulate it as a part of the window. I'm sure that the SetWindowPos can be used to do it, but I'm not sure about the specifics. Code should be written in VB.
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
Should work on all AIM versions. However if it works on one it should work on others.
