To begin with I need a web developer that can take this project from start to finish, you will need to be able to speak and communicate in fluent English and you will need to show previous work that relates to this project.
Project Description
The site needs to look clean and most importantly be simple to use, with clear graphics. Also it needs to work well will mobile media devices e.g. mobile phones and tablets,
I want a website where the user can:
Make an account/ profile ( with normal details and photo )
Upload and share different mountain bike trails. A similar website to ( [url removed, login to view] ) or [url removed, login to view] or [url removed, login to view]
The user must be able to for search the trails on an interactive map, also search via
country,
town,
discipline ( dh, xc, dirt jumps etc )
Also where admin and users can add information about local bike shops and accommodation
I’m also looking for information on how I can get a mobile phone app made where the user can map trails and trail information and then upload directly to the site. Similar to the mobile application strava.
Once the user has found the trail, the user will be able to see: A map of where the trail is( google maps or user uploaded gps map) , description/ directions, video, pictures, user rating -jump, difficulty( they will be graded green, blue, red, black), climbing, tec ( more information will be given, ( last video, pics will be shown on the home page ) social media share on each page and clearly integrated ads.
The user must be able to make an account with facebook/ as well as normal e-mail address method. Need to to have recaptcha to stop spam.
The site needs to have a function/ plugin that translates the site into a select few languages,
Account with normal basic details (favourite, trail, bike etc ), gps upload, picture upload / video upload. Such as a user’s profile on [url removed, login to view]
You can use open source code to save time.
I have made a start on the site at [url removed, login to view], I’m not sure I can use a wordpress platform to make this project work (need to discuss) If not all the information on [url removed, login to view] will need to me transferred to the new site, (everything, all news/blog posts etc ) also the new site will need a jobs board, business directory( linked to the map ) etc.
I will need to be able to see and test the site before it goes live, either on a local server or on your server.
This is a fun project and I want to be part of the whole process to help save time.
