Conversion of Legacy Access 2002 Database to SQL, Small .NET or infopath 2003 program to pull all relevant information about a customer by use of entering one field (customer name)

This is a fairly standard project. The coder will take our legacy Access 2002 database which is very, very small (it can fit on a diskette when compressed), and convert it over to our SQL database which is ready on our network. We have also currently deployed our intranet using sharepoint portal server 2003, and would like to be able to enter one field (the customer name) and pull all relevant information about the customer from the inquiry (using some .NET [vb.net c#, coders choice) technology out of the sharepoint site). I am also aware that the forms using the upsizing wizard in Access 2002 (used to convert to the new SQL database), wont allow the forms to be converted over. We need to replicate this technology so that our customer representatives can still enter the information about the customer into the SQL database to be pulled out later. Again, the database is very, very small. The current invoicing system (the access forms) are very, very simple. So, the general synopsis of the project is this. Take the Access Database (again, it is really a small database it is like 3 megs!), convert that technology over to SQL and build the small .NET program to pool all relevant customer information out of the SQl database. The deadline for this project is open, although it will say something like 5 days, I am open to working with the coder on this to get something that the company likes! The SQL database will be interacting with a storefront store currently being implemented by another coder on RAC, I can put you into contact with that coder so that this conversion of our legacy system goes smooth. If the coder can give a brief explanation of how they would approach this problem as well while bidding, it will help speed up this process. I know this project is small but we are grwoing company so a successful coder will become a used asset frequently! Thank you for bidding on this project and I look forward to working with whoever wins! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform SQL, Sharepoint Portal Server 2003, .NET application (VB.NET, ASP.NET...I am Open To suggestions from coders on how to approach this!
