Scanner Umax Mirage II and XP SP2

? Hi,

? I have a problem at one customer's site. Here's the recap:

Windows XP with SP2

Scanner UMAX Mirage II

SCSI PC card Tekram DC-315U U-SCSI PCI retail

SCSI interface etc

? This system has worked fine in the past, with one additional Adaptec driver installed (which is still installed) and MagicScan (?) - scanning software - has been working too. They have changed something on the PC and now scanner is not being recognized anymore (the card is looking OK in Device Manager).

## Deliverables

? I need simple steps to make the combination above work again and I am certain this works somewhere else in the world. If possible please include a screenshot of system recognizing scanner in image scanning software? for proof of working? but? it's not required.

? Text file with steps would be sufficient but I am also a coder here and used to great documentation. So:

- please **bid only if you have or know for this combination or have an information how to make it work

**- **for steps in PDF** file (but Word is also OK) I will pay **a bonus of $10**.

? Of course, I hope one coder/designer will bid for easy dolars earned for estimated 15 minutes of work.
