Accessing LINUX server and copying selected log files, with simple user interface

A simple user interface is required which will automatically ssh to a remote linux server, run few commands and copy selected files to a remote server. Currently I have to do the following steps manually: - run PuTTy - Log in to the Linux jump host [login to view URL] - Sudo su - "workgroup" - SSH [login to view URL] - sudo su - "user" - [login to view URL] Then I run "ls -ltr" to give me a list of logs on a format: 359143 Oct 26 23:58 [login to view URL] 120409 Oct 26 23:58 [login to view URL] 102241 Oct 26 23:58 [login to view URL] 359143 Oct 27 23:58 [login to view URL] 120409 Oct 27 23:58 [login to view URL] 102241 Oct 27 23:58 [login to view URL] 359143 Oct 28 23:58 [login to view URL] 120409 Oct 28 23:58 [login to view URL] 102241 Oct 28 23:58 [login to view URL] I then run: scp -r [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] user[at][login to view URL]:/temp/ I am after a very simple user interface, where it prompts for username and password, but runs the rest of commands automatically. Also a choice of which files to copy (log_type1, log_type2, log_type3 - without repetition for each date), maybe as a tick box options, and a range of dates to copy. Maybe a field for destination address / user / pass. IP, log file names, users etc will be modified as I'm not able to provide exact details, so source code is required. Program will run on Windows and Apple machines. Please let me know if you need more details. Mark

Python standard library will do the rest: connect via SSH and perform commands. I have good experience in developing applications using databases and SQL queries.
