I have an IT store based on Prestashop 1.5.6.1. I have about 50 suppliers and I want to make automatic prices updates.
Our suppliers send monthly price lists and we would like to update just the price cost on a CSV file.
The margin should remain the same, so no changes required. Just to read the item from the CSV file and search the price on the supplier's price list, usually in Excel and then update the product on the CSV file that we can later upload to the site.
We may have 3 or 4 price lists from one supplier then the software should read every product in our CSV file. If the product is not found it should change the active field to 0. If the product is found then the active field should be made a 1 if not already a 1 and the cost price updated.
All other suppliers prices to remain unchanged.
It would be ok to run this program/ script for one or several suppliers at the same time. We should be able to say update supplier x and z, so only those articles from suppliers x and z are checked against the price lists. We would then place in a folder only the price lists of suppliers x and z to avoid any mistakes
