Hi all,
I am hoping to largely automate my current betting strategy. I have created a basic excel spreadsheet which tells me when to make a bet, based on my formula. This formula runs on prices that I enter manually, which is very time consuming. Rather than manually entering the betfair prices and the bookmaker prices, I am hoping that this can be done automatically so that all I have to do is place the bet when it is recommended based on the current prices.
So in essence the project will involve extracting prices from betfair in real-time, and also from one or two specified bookmakers - which I guess will involve screen scraping if there is no other way of doing this. Ideally, I would be alerted by a mobile app when the software recommends a bet, but am not sure how much complexity / cost this will add. Would be very interested to hear your opinion on this.
Once the project has been awarded, I will send my spreadsheet to the winning freelancer to make the details of the project clearer.
