Objective: Revitalize the current company website, Triphase Accelerator.
Current situation:
The existing TAC corporate website needs to be visually updated to distinguish TAC from its competitors while reflecting the mission and vision of the company in a meaningful and memorable way.
Objectives
The web developer will employ its proven brand development process to design a new website that differentiates TAC from competitors and better reflects the direction of the company. Triphase requests a contemporary site that is visually engaging and works equally well across platforms.
How to meet company's objectives for this project:
Gathering and Uncovering: The foundation for all work
o Competitive image audit: Freelancer will informally review 3 top competitor websites (names of competitors supplied by TAC)
o Communications review: Freelancer to conduct a communications review of materials developed by and for TAC looking for consistency of elements and any equity, like the logo, to build upon.
Assigning: In this phase, a well-articulated creative brief is developed
After a brief conference call where the objectives and mandatories for this project are discussed, Freelancer will develop a creative brief to be agreed to before designing begins.
Approval of a web template
Realizing : In this phase, the freelancer will bring the TAC website to life visually through strategic design. Wireframe, look and feel, image selection, and programming. This redesign is based on the same level of content as the exiting website. All copy content will be provided to the selected freelancer.
Deliverables
o Creative brief
o Agreement on wireframe (flow) and template
o Look and feel of homepage not including logo refresh
2 design options as well as image options will be presented via WebEx or another screen sharing platform. Two rounds of client input will be included at this stage
o Once the look and feel is agreed upon the freelancer will apply any new copy and images to final layout of homepage and extend the approved look to the following pages (content on following pages will remain as is).
o The freelancer design will present these new layouts via WebEx
o The freelancer will provide estimates for stock art recommended. Once costs for art are agreed to, the stock imagery will be purchased on behalf of TAC and incorporate into the final website design
o The freelancer will program the site using wordpress
