Build a Website

Web designer wanted to develop a basic service website which can sell services using a similar format to websites such as Priceline, Expedia or Hotwire. The website will initially start with a small database to work with and this job entails little, if any entering of a database. Hoever, the functional ability of the site to grow using a large database is vital. Features to keep in mind: travel website appearance, login to view, that allows people to book alternative lodging experiences and vacation deals. We already have a mock-up sample site to use as the model which will be revealed to the winning bid. A web designing professional needs to be able to create a site with a professional appearance like those mentioned; must be able to integrate a GDS search/booking engine in it so people can buy packages or a la cart vacation events through through the site. We simply want the website designed to search and sell a large database (which will be entered in the next phase) of services but to start out all we want is the site in place and the site will expand only after the work for this project is completed. Thoughtful comments which are intended to help educate this project owner on the options and functionality of platforms available will be given serious consideration but are not required for the bid. Serious bids only please. Something like Dreamweaver would be a good design software to use.
