We are a company that transports people from one point to another. In the process we have to keep track of records such as mileage, maintenance, attendance etc. Looking to have a program built to manage all of this. We have monthly, quarterly and yearly reports that need to be done. This will be a project with an admin section, as well as a user section. The user section will be used by the drivers to input mileage and attendance that will flow to a database where the reports will be generated. There is more to be imagined that will add to this project as we realize we need it in the process.
I would like to see a work sample to help me decided on the right bidder. If possible, please include a sample of such work with your bid.
Here is a small example of what I am looking for. there will be more needed than this.
Project:
Van driver starts his day by logging in to the program. He records the mileage at the start.
His route will be on the screen. Each stop start to finish. There will be a check box for the driver to check if the rider is "present" or "absent". At the end of the route he records his mileage.
On the admin side, I can recall the route, make adjustments to the route (add or remove riders, re arrange).
The attendance will transfer to a report calculating the attendance for each rider and making mileage calculations for each rider based on type of billing they have.
Your sample doesn't have to do this exactly but please show me something similar so I can decide who to choose based on your knowledge of the process.
